This sounds like banking.

Setting up a foreign financial institution is a long, complicated, and sometimes almost insurmountable problem, running up against complex, often competing, governmental regulations regarding banks and international finance.

The Family-to-Family Project will circumvent these roadblocks as a charitable not-for-profit non-governmental organization (NGO).

The Family-to-Family Project is not a bank, nor do we make loans. We facilitate loans by connecting a family that wishes to borrow with a family that has pre-committed to give. We help these two families arrange an unsecured personal loan, help move the money from lender to borrower, and, where appropriate, direct payments from borrowers to lenders.

The majority of the administration is done by the Family-to-Family Project via the internet, eliminating the necessity and expense of travel and document shipping between countries.
